What You See is What You Get

I absolutely love when one of the Billingsleys or Nixes call me to come to the Billingsley farm for a session! It is beautiful and you can see forever from Melanie and Billy Bob's yard.  It was so much fun taking Dakota's senior photos back in November.

This kid is just no nonsense. He is definitely a "what you see is what you get" kind of guy.  He was just ready to get this whole photo gig over with so he could get to the horse sale and we won't even talk about me trying to coerce him into some pictures without his ball cap!  He was a good sport and just grinned and went along with me after I gave him my excellent reasoning. ;)

I have a feeling Dakota won't stray far from this farm. There is no doubt he loves being there and being outdoors with the cattle, his horses, coon dogs, or hunting for any of the wildlife that makes its way onto the place.  He is a good kid and the real deal and Melanie swears he is a mini me of his Daddy! One thing is for sure, he has has an awesome family who love and support him and who have taught him solid values of working hard and going the extra mile.  I think that clearly gives him a leg up to take on whatever comes his way.
