The Lindsey's are one FUN fam!
When Renee contacted me about their family photos and their youngest, Lawren's one year, cake smash photos, I knew it would be fun. I have known Renee and Dan since I started working at Ozarka College12 years ago.
When I did a spotlight story on Dan, aka, "Dan, Dan, Library Man", back when I started my job at the college, I learned that although his degree is in library science, he doesn't like to read. That always stuck with me. He also eats saltine crackers a lot. Like a LOT! Renee was always so sweet and seemed so organized and together to me when she was a student in one of our education programs. Together they are such a sweet couple.
Now, they have two beautiful daughters and let me tell you, these girls totally complete this little family!
Renee brought a tea party set and the girls had fun with their "tea party" pics. I mean, what little girl doesn't love a tea party???
Arika is hilarious! She is sassy, fun, confident and gorgeous. I loved capturing her personality during our session. I think she is a diva and will definitely be giving Dan and Renee a run for their money in a few years (sorry Dan and Renee) :)
Lawren is one of the most cooperative one year old babies I have ever photographed. She has this sweet little spirit about her and just seems to be a laid back, go with the flow kind of kids. I look forward to seeing her personality blossom.
For me fun is essential in a photo session and sometimes I tend to geek out on trying to get families to have fun and laugh together. For Dan, Renee, Arika and Lawren, I never had to work to get them to laugh together....that is just who they are. I love when families are not afraid to be silly! They have such a great connection as a family. That comes naturally and it is apparent in their photos.
This past week, Lawren turned ONE.
