Goals Can Change

This is something I do each quarter. My key priority life areas have changed over the years but I can say that I have reached some major goals over these 5 years and developed healthier habits in the process.

Recovery is Real Y'all

I hope my hysterectomy story will help just one other person who might have to face this life change because it is definitely a life change. Respect your body. Nourish it with real, whole, colorful foods and limit the treats. Move every single day. AND advocate for yourself and your body.

I Survived Surgery!

Did I mention I am really independent and often have a difficult time accepting help? Yeah, that is a thing, so it was incredibly humbling for me to have so many people do things for me out of love and kindness.

Let the Hysterectomy Prepping Begin

Needless to say, I spent a copious amount of time trying to think of everything beforehand to help things go as smoothly as possible, including talking to lots of friends and family about their hysterectomy experiences and what tips they had for me.
